5 Early Signs of Labor
1. Braxton Hicks
Braxton Hicks aka as practice contractions because they are preparation for the real event. Commonly experienced in the third trimester and is responsible for toning the uterine muscle and promoting the flow of blood to the placenta. They have an active role in dilating the cervix.
2. Loose Stool
Loose Stool is just a way for the body prepare for labor and keeping the digestive cause loosening of the muscles in your abdomen cleansing the lower bowel in preparation
Nausea happens because the intensity if contractions and digestion stops in labor. So if you go into labor with a full stomach you may experience nausea as labor progresses.
4. Pelvic Pressure
Pelvic Pressure the baby drops or engages into the pelvis which is called lightening. This is a very uncomfortable and painful feeling for those who experience it.
5. Loss of Mucus Plug
Loss of Mucus Plug also known as bloody show is normally slightly brown, pink from the thinning and opening of the cervix which causes the mucus plug to be released from the cervix.
